French Onion Soup Chicken Casserole

Ingredients:

– 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 2 large onions, thinly sliced
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 cups beef broth
– 1 cup shredded Gruyere cheese
– 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
– 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon dried thyme
– Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
3. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook until browned on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, add the onions and garlic. Cook until the onions are caramelized and golden brown, stirring occasionally.
